Does Chewing Gum Make You More Attractive?

If you believe a new study, a quick and easy way to make yourself more attractive is to chew gum.

Researchers had a pair of identical twins stand next to each other.  They were dressed exactly the same, except one was chewing gum and the other wasn’t.  The study asked people to guess which of the twins would likely be invited to more parties or have a better love life.  Three out of four picked the twin who was chewing gum.

However, before you go out and stock up on a ton of gum, you should know that the company that commissioned the study has a vested interest in people buying gum.   The study was sponsored by...Trident.   That might make the findings a little “sticky” to some folks.  But why tempt fate.  I think I'll go buy a pack of gum just to be safe.
