Whether you're a rookie or a veteran triathlete- the 7th annual Rochesterfest Triathlon may be your most memorable event of the year!

This event is part of the Rochesterfest festival happening in Rochester. To get more information on all the events happening in Rochester, please go to http://www.rochesterfest.com/.

Rochesterfest hosts numerous different events such as shows, live music, a parade and various other outdoor activities. Plan to spend more time in Rochester and take in the great events!

All participants will also receive a technical shirt for coming! There is a purse prize for the top 5 Male and Female finishers in the Olympic Race. Participant t-shirts are by BornFit. Unisex Sizing.

Parking

Located in the parking lot near Hy-Vee & the IBM building on 37th St NW near the race site. A shuttle bus will be provided on race morning to take participants, volunteers and spectators to the race site. Limited parking will be available closer to the race venue. There will be no parking in the Foster Arend Parking lot.

Course Information

This is not USAT sanctioned event, however, we still request that you abide by all the rules of the road set out by USAT.

The swim is done in waves in 3 minutes intervals, first the Olympic triathletes, and then the Sprint triathletes. There will be a break between the Olympic and the sprint waves to allow all Olympic athletes to get onto the 2nd lap before we start the Sprint triathletes.

The bike is an out and back course on residential and city area roads.

The run is also an out and back course with fairly level terrain, mostly along the beautiful river trails.

Race Awards
**Prize Purse to the Top 5 Finishers in the Olympic Race (Males and Females) 1st = $300 2nd = $200 3rd = $150 4th = $100 5th = $50

Ameteurelite - are participants who have specifically signed up as an amateurelite and will race in their own wave with other amateurelites. Only amateurelite participants are eligible for cash prizes and will not be eligible for age group awards. Anyone who did not sign up as an amateurelite will race with their respective age group and wave and are not eligible for cash prizes.

Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female triathletes in each age category, Sprint & Olympic: 19 & under, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 44 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 - 74, 75 - 79, 80 - 84, 85+.
