Here comes some family fun!  Rochester Civic Theatre's "How I Became A Pirate" opens this Friday and runs through February 9th.

Young Jeremy Jacob is digging in the sand at North Beach when he is greeted by Captain Braid Beard and his mates and is recruited to help find the perfect digging spot for their treasure. The pirate world proves to have many surprises for Jeremy Jacob in a story of adventure and finding one’s own heart – a path that can’t be found on any treasure map! Terrific songs like “A Good One To Boot,” “I’m Really Just a Sensitive Guy,” “You’ve Got to Talk Like a Pirate,” “Pirates Dot Aaargh!,” and many others will have you secretly wishing for Braid Beard and the gang to one day pay you a visit.  This family play (for ages 10 and up) is produced by Olmsted Medical Center.
