New Ulm, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in the New Ulm area. The deadly incident occurred around 7:30 Saturday evening on Highway 15 just south of the south-central Minnesota city.

The State Patrol report says 62-year-old David Fleck was alone on his motorcycle lost control and was thrown off his motorcycle, which ended up in the east ditch. The New Ulm man was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol also responded to a crash involving a car and a deer in Olmsted County Saturday morning that sent a Winona woman to the hospital. The crash report says 26-year-old Maria Mitchell was driving west on I-90 near the Highway 63 interchange south of Rochester when her car struck the deer around 10:30 am. Her injuries were described as non-life threatening.

A 4-year-old boy and 26-year-old Winona man in the car were not hurt. The State Patrol did not list any information about the fate of the deer.
