When Nikes first came out in the 1970s, my dad refused to buy them for me (specifically the original red swoosh "Cortez") because they were $9.99, twice the cost of an average pair.  "I'm not paying ten bucks for a pair of tennis shoes!", he'd say.  Sit down for this one, pops.

During last night's "America's Got Talent" finale, Nick Cannon wore $2 million shoes, Reportedly, the world's most expensive, the Tom Ford slip-on kicks -- which are seriously blinged out -- have more than 14,000 full-cut round white diamonds set onto white gold, totaling 340 carats.

Cannon plans on donating the kicks for a good cause.

Can I get a pair, pops?  I promise I won't scuff 'em.
