I’ve recently gotten back into working out, and I’m almost at the point where I’m starting to enjoy it. That’s going to mean one thing: I need to join a gym. One option is the local YMCA, which is apparently about to get a big upgrade.

Thanks to a partnership with the Twin Cities YMCA chapter, Rochester’s Y will be getting upgrades to fitness equipment, more youth enrichment classes, better group exercise programs, new swim lessons, access to overnight and family camps, and more. That must be great news for anyone who already works out at the Y, as it looks like you’ll soon have more things to do over the next year.

The Rochester YMCA is still looking to repair or replace its current building, but these upgrades are definitely a nice start.
