Water levels in areas of Olmsted and Dodge Counties began dropping Friday afternoon after an overnight deluge resulted in widespread flash flooding followed by flooding along the South Branch of the Zumbro River.
orrential rains from strong thunderstorms have prompted the National Weather Service to issue flash flood warnings for portions of Goodhue, Dakota and Rice Counties, along with sections of Le Sueur and Scott counties this afternoon.
