For weeks, my daughter, Bella, had been hearing about Corey Fogelmanis, "Farkle" from Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World", coming to town. What happened when she finally got to meet him?

It was kinda like fireworks going off on the Fourth of July.

Bella was so excited to meet "Farkle"! I got to watch her as she waited in line for him to come in and start greeting fans. I guessed she was about fourteenth in line. I think she was overcome with excitement, because I watched her slowly walk up the steps to where he was standing on stage.

He hugged her! What a nice young man.

I thought for sure my "little girl" was going to need a paramedic afterward! She staggered on shaky legs away and off the stage. I'd heard stories of screaming and crying girls that had greeted The Beatles everywhere they went in their heyday. I asked her how she was doing. Her face was red and she was out of breath. She told me that when he'd asked her name, she had stuttered, "B-b-b-bella."

I laughed. Not at her, but with her. I remembered meeting Shania Twain. Before it became the CMA Music Festival, there was something called Fan Fair in Nashville. It was a week-long meet and greet, with performances by selected artists at the fairgrounds outside downtown Nashville. I stood in line for something like an hour to meet Shania. It was an hour of trying to think of something to say when I actually got to meet her. Unaccustomed as I am to public speaking, I think I mumbled something like, "I really like your music!" Thanksnext! Shania was very friendly and polite to me and all of her fans.

I got Bella a soda and a paper bag to breathe into and after a few minutes she calmed down...but she still glowed.
