Which job do you have on Halloween? Are you waiting by the door for the little ghouls and goblins to ring the bell; or are you chaperoning while they clean up the neighborhood. Either way, you're probably going to be enjoying some candy right along with the kids, right?

I would never have thought to mix wine and Halloween candy. I'm more of a milk and chocolate kinda guy. A nice tall, ice cold glass of milk and chocolate - there's Fourth of July fireworks right there! But there are Experts that have figured out which wines compliment which Halloween candy.

Like Candy Corn and Moscato. There are people that don't like Candy Corn. The sugar and the fruitiness of Moscato seem to blend well.

Another good combination is Sour Patch Kids or Sweet Tarts and Riesling, for the sweet and sour taste.

Or, Hershey's Kisses and Zinfandel. Creamy milk chocolate melding with berries.

Have you tried M&M's with Port? The fig taste of a Port with the chocolatey M&M...not the peanut or the pretzel ones.

How about a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup with a glass of Sherry. Peanut Butter Cup makes an interesting flavor for a donut, as James Rabe and Tracy McCray found out. The Sherry is supposed to accent the flavor of the creamy peanut butter filling.

"I love the flavor!"

After all the excitement and activity of Trick-or-Treating, you might want to kick back with a glass of wine and candy.
