You Can Own A Piece Of The Minnesota Senate
Need some chairs for a home office or your business? Need some desks or a conference table?
You can get some furniture to fill those needs that come with the story that these items were used in the state capitol by the Minnesota Senate.
The Senate is hosting an online auction of nearly 500 items -- chairs, tables, cork boards, filing cabinets, garbage cans and more.
You can check out all the items on Monday, May 15. The auction is being run by Auction Masters and Appraisals. Merchandise purchased must be picked up between 10AM and 6PM May 18 at 321 Grove St. in St. Paul.
Many of these pieces have been in the Senate for years. So it's possible you could find some items that were once used by former governors Elmer Andersen, Al Quie, Wendell Anderson and Rudy Perpich when they each served in the Minnesota Senate.
