A 13 year-old Chicago boy is facing a felony for throwing a snowball at an officer. Several area city residents feel the punishment is too harsh.

The eighth grade boy told the Chicago Tribune, "It made me mad, he, (the officer) said the snowball hit him but it hit the car, not him." The teen is facing a felony charge of battery to a police officer.

They boy is going to appear in juvenile court on March 12, and in addition to the charges he is facing, he has been suspended for five days from school.
