3 Boats and Dock Destroyed After Fire on Lake Minnetonka

Minneapolis, MN (KROC AM News) -Three boats and a dock have been destroyed by a fire on Lake Minnetonka. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office says one boat caught fire on Lake Minnetonka’s Lafayette Bay Sunday, which resulted in three boats and a dock being destroyed. Everyone on board the boat were able to safely evacuate the boat, which drifted into a dock where two other boats and the dock caught fire.

Officials do not know what started the fire on the original boat, which is still under investigation.
