40 Discontinued Cereals People Used To Love In Wisconsin
This may make me sound old, but I bet a lot of people will be able to relate. Watching Saturday morning cartoons was a big deal when I was a little kid. I remember the Big 3 networks, yes this was before FOX, would even have specials to tell kids what new cartoons would be coming soon on Saturday mornings.
Of course, every kid in Wisconsin who got up Saturday mornings to camp in front of the TV would also have to have their favorite cereal and, with all due respect to Kix, it seemed the more sugar the better.
Over the years there was a seemingly endless variety of cereals to choose from, many of which tried to capitalize on something popular at the time, like the Mr. T cereal that kids and even Pee-wee Herman loved.
You could always count on Kellogg's, the largest cereal company in the United States, to come out with something new. However, like almost all fads, many cereals do not stand the test of time.
That's why it's always fun to look back at things that were popular at the time, like the 40 discontinued Kellogg's cereals that are shown below.
Some of these go way back, but I'm sure you'll remember many of them and it'll bring you back to getting up early on Saturday mornings to watch your favorite cartoons like Hong Kong Phooey, Captain Caveman, Super Friends, or countless others.
