It will be warmer in the eastern half of Alaska this week than in all of Minnesota.  The National Weather Service says highs in Alaska are expected to be in the 50’s and 60’s this week and some spots may get into the low 70’s by Saturday.  High temps in southeast Minnesota are expected to rise only into the 40’s and low 50’s - which is 10 - 15 degrees below normal.
