Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Road conditions across Southeast Minnesota were difficult to travel on in the afternoon and throughout the night after a winter storm moved through the area Monday. Three people were injured in two crashes across the area in road conditions that were reported as snow/ice-covered.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, two people were injured when a Ford Transit Connect lost control and rolled into the median while traveling eastbound on I-90 near the Rushford exit in Winona County around 1:30 Tuesday morning.

The driver, 29-year-old Jerry Phutseevong of Rochester, and one passenger, 48-year-old Anna Lang of Atlanta, Georgia, were transported to Winona Health with non-life threatening injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol also reported a collision at the intersection of Northbound Highway 63 and 20th ST NW in Stewartville just after 1:00 Monday afternoon.

A Chevy Venture, driven by 61-year-old Paul Raygor of Stewartville, and a Honda CRV, driven by 65-year-old Lawanna Thompson of Spring Valley, collided at the intersection. Thompson was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Raygor was not injured in the crash.
