in the picture you see a ravioli. And you see Pop-Tarts. Are they they same thing? To answer this question, we go to the source of all knowledge and silly arguments...The Twitters and the Reddit.

What? People are honestly asking this question? Uuuuuugh.

Before it was, "Is a hot dog a sandwhich" which, of course, gets a "Sure, if you wanna call it a sammich, go ahead." After all, it's bread and a thing with bread around it. At the least, a hot dog is in the same ballpark (heh heh)...bread and filling.

But a Pop-Tart and ravioli?

A Reddit user explains why they are the same...

Ingredients do not define a type of food such as ravioli. Nobody is arguing that an ice cream sandwich isn't a sandwich, are they? Or that spaghetti with anything other than marinara sauce isn't spaghetti, right? Right! So let's take a look at a ravioli. A ravioli has a rather plain casing filled with delicious filling as well as usually a yummy sauce of some kind on top.

Now, let's look at a pop tart. A pop tart consists of a rather plain casing containing some delicious filling, with a yummy topping on the top of it! The only difference is in the ingredients, and, as I've said before, ingredients don't define a ravioli.

Hmmm....it's hard to argue with that. But let me try,.

BULLLCRAP!

Merriam Webster define ravioli :  "pasta in the form of little cases of dough containing a savory filling (as of meat or cheese)"

Huh. So it turns out ingredients DO define a type of food.

I can't believe I'm even arguing this.

PS - If Pop-Tart makers are reading this...more filling, better frosting, more "oooey-gooey" when toasted. Thank you.

PSS - I HAVE to go eat ravioli now. DANGIT!
