The FDA issued an advisory warning people not to use three different brands of cosmetic products sold at Claire's - Claire's Eye Shadows, Compact Powder and Contour Pallette. The warning comes after tests found these products contained asbestos.

Rochester has a Claire's in the Apache Mall but a CNN report says the products should no longer be for sale. People are being asked to check their cabinets and discard the product if they have it.

Cancer.org explains the dangers of asbestos: "The major health problem caused by asbestos exposure, aside from cancer, is a lung disease called asbestosis. When a person breathes high levels of asbestos over time, some of the fibers lodge deep in the lungs. Irritation caused by the fibers can eventually lead to scarring (fibrosis) in the lungs."
