What Minnesota city was picked as the best place to live?

Every year, about 10% of the people in America make a move from one place to another. According to movebuddha.com, relocating for a job is one of the big reasons people move but sometimes, people also want a bigger or better home. Whatever the reason for the move, it is a big decision and one that takes time to research. Thanks to some work done by Stacker and Niche, we now know what the best city is to live in for every state in the U.S., including Minnesota.

Have you ever heard of Lauderdale, Minnesota?

Many years ago, my very extended family lived in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. I was extremely young then but I do remember loading up the car and hitting I-35 in Iowa as we made our way to the "big city" to see our family. I know my family didn't live in Lauderdale but based on where this suburb sits and the landmarks nearby, like Como Park Zoo and Conservatory and the Minnesota State Fair, they weren't too far away. Next time I'm in the Minneapolis area, I will be taking a little detour to check Lauderdale out. Not sure that this will be where my future home will be at in the future but if it was picked as the best place to live in our state, I've got to check it out at least once.
