Beyonce Reportedly Looking for New Home Without Jay Z

Rumors have been running rampant over Beyonce and Jay Z’s allegedly crumbling relationship. The famous couple have so far kept a united public front amidst the gossip, but now the New York Post is reporting that Beyonce may already be one foot out the door.

A source told the publication that the singer was recently searching for a new apartment in New York — a place that would be firmly Jay Z-less. She checked out a $21.5 million Chelsea penthouse in June, shortly after the infamous video smack-down between her husband and sister.

“She was very quiet, as if she was looking on the sly,” a source told the Post. He or she added that Jay Z didn’t tag along for the viewing, despite him being heavily involved in the pair’s previous real estate deals.

The 4,045-square-foot apartment Bey was checking out is less than half the size of the current Tribeca residence she, Jay and their 2-year-old daughter Blue Ivy share. The source hinted, “I can say with certainty that Jay is not downsizing.”

Only time will tell if these rumors hold any weight.
