She did warn us that new music would be coming soon, y'all.

The Legendary Miss Britney Spears has selected the single from her upcoming ninth studio album, is shooting the video for said single next Monday, and will release her just four weeks.

The news comes from a casual late night report by the Las Vegas Sun's Robin Leach on Twitter, who has provided consistently reliable exclusives regarding Britney's latest career moves ever since she kicked off her Piece Of Me residency in Las Vegas at the end of 2013, including the news of last year's Billboard Music Awards performance with Iggy Azalea and her contract extensions with Planet Hollywood.

Leach also conducted one of the (very rare) interviews with Britney about her remixed, reimagined and still iconic show back in February.

"I just know that the direction I’m going in is so good. It’s the best thing I’ve done in a long time. I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different; it’s not what you would think at all. But I’m not rushing anything. I just want it to be done right, so that my fans will truly appreciate it," Britney revealed about her new music in her recent V Magazine cover story.

Larry Rudolph, Brit's manager, confirmed the sonic switch-up in a podcast interview with the Las Vegas Sun earlier this year: “It’s different, it’s a turn. The last few albums have been pretty straightforward pop. This is almost like if you can imagine Britney meets The Weeknd. It’s got a really interesting vibe, it’s a lot of really cool stuff.”

New single. New video. New album. All coming within four weeks. Panic accordingly.
