One of Rochester, MN’s Favorite Boutiques Just Announced Big Expansion
I'm a sucker for boutiques. When they've got tall Judy Blue jeans, I'm even more of a fan. Those are a bit of a challenge for me to find but that doesn't stop me from checking out the adorable items that all of our local boutiques offer. I walk inside these cute shops and just end up smiling because they fill me up with joy. And THAT'S what I call...self-care.
Our options for "self-care" is expanding in Rochester because a store that we already love just made a huge announcement!

Just a few months ago, Willow James Tyler opened at the Apache Mall in Rochester, Minnesota. I dream about being a bojo chic type of person, and this boutique is all that and more. Adorable Boutique in Rochester, Minnesota Just Announced Huge Expansion!
Another favorite spot of mine just announced some huge news for Rochester in probably one of the most adorable and creative ways. Ama La Vita is always up on their social media game though so this doesn't surprise me at all!
If you missed the big news, I'll fill you in. Just a few weeks ago, our town was buzzing because Primp, located on 1st Ave. in the Peace Plaza, just disappeared. This has happened before where they have closed but they at least said goodbye to Rochester. This time, it was pretty abrupt and left a lot of us shocked. I was just there a week before looking at clothes and then...poof...the only trace were a few naked mannequins and empty hangers.

Thankfully, the Primp storefront isn't going to be empty for long. According to the latest video that Ama La Vita shared, they are expanding and adding a 2nd location. They are moving in!

Based on the reactions I'm seeing, the community is loving this expansion news. Ama La Vita just gave a heartfelt thanks for all of the love being shown to them regarding the news along with a tease on when they are planning to open.

This is truly a full circle moment for me! (Ginger) Downtown Rochester has been part of my life ever since I can remember!! Shopping the subway and street level stores with my mom The lady who taught me the LOVE of shopping ️ My mom was diagnosed at Mayo with Multiple Sclerosis when I was one. At the time we were living in Iowa and visits to Rochester became part of my life. In between appointments, we would go shopping ️, get a bite to eat, and walk the subways!! So many memories made!! It is surreal to be able to open Ama La Vita in the heart of downtown Rochester!
We are aiming for a soft opening by August 8th and in the coming weeks have a grand opening event! We cannot wait to put our love into this beautiful space
