
5 New Chick-fil-A Restaurants Coming to Minnesota, Bringing 500+ Jobs
Just days after Chick-fil-A handed out thousands of free entrées for its "Dress Like A Cow" promotion, big news dropped on its website for Minnesotans.
Based on the press release posted on Chick-fil-A's website, it sounds like we are about to have a few more spots to grab some of those tasty waffle fries.

5 New Chick-fil-A Restaurants Opening By The End Of 2028 In Minnesota
To date, Chick-fil-A has 27 restaurants throughout the state of Minnesota. But based on the latest announcement by Chick-fil-A, the following 5 cities will be adding a new, locally owned and operated Chick-fil-A restaurant.
Mankato – expected to open summer 2026 (this will be the city's first standalone Chick-fil-A)
Shakopee – planned for late 2026
Stillwater – planned for late 2026
Baxter – planned for 2027 (the first Chick-fil-A in Central Minnesota)
Woodbury – planned for 2028

How Many Jobs Will These New Chick-fil-A Restaurants Create For The State Of Minnesota
One thing that Chick-fil-A has mastered is customer service and how to get guests through a drive-thru super fast. Seriously, your stomach doesn't even have time to growl once between the time you order and when you get your food "at the next window".
According to the statement released on July 8th by Chick-fil-A, over 500 new jobs will be created as a result of these new restaurants.
Chick-fil-A Donating $125,000 to Local Food Banks
Since 2017, the Chick-fil-A restaurants in Minnesota have helped create over 430,000 meals for local nonprofits through their program titled Chick-fil-A Shared Table. To celebrate these new store openings, Chick-fil-A is also pledging to donate $125,000 to local food banks.
