The survey of 1,000 American adults found that 62% have dreamed about running their own business and being their own boss. That number jumps higher when you look specifically at millennials. 77% of people in that age range have had thoughts of owning their own business.

The top reasons why people don't start their own business are financial concerns and lack of confidence.

Jay Clemons owns Clem's Cups and Cones in Kasson. The Ice Cream shop has been operating for a couple years now and as Jay prepares to retire he is looking for someone to take over.

Clemons told the Post Bulletin, "My goal is to sell it to somebody that keeps it up and keeps going because it's established. We did everything, planned everything and got it open and did all of that, so it's nice to do that. And we got it right now where it's running smooth."
