As we boot scoot and boogie into March... we are also moving into SPRING. This means nice weather, beautiful colors and of course baseball season will be here before we know it. Going to Mager League Baseball games are so so fun. Growing up I would always go to Colorado Rockies games and last summer I went a few Minnesota Twins games.

There is nothing more American than baseball and beer on a hot summer day.  If you are into craft beer, Target Field in Minnesota was ranked the seventh-best stadium in the MLB for their craft beer selection according to Bring Me The News. The article said that 100 fans and writers set out to find the best ballpark for the craft beer scene in the MLB.

The original article was done by The Athletic, which is a website with information about different professional sports. The folks that participated in the survey had three categories that they would rank the ballparks from one to ten on. Those were:

  • Selection of top-end beer
  • Acessablitity to craft beer throughout the ballpark
  • Average availability of beer at the ballpark

Target Field got great markings in two of the areas. The ballpark received a nine in the strength of the wide selection of craft beer. Fans also gave the Twins home an eight in the aver beer selection. But... they weren't happy with the accessibility to these craft beer options.  They said that you could only get them at the entrance or at the Bat & Barrel. Just imagine if there were more locations to get craft beer at the ballpark... we would be a triple threat.

If you were wondering what the top stadiums in the MLB were,  well Seatlle's T-Movile Park and San Diego's PETCO Park both scored perfect tens in all categories. Seventh is still really good!
