Hundreds of Ryans Are Taking Over Minnesota This Weekend

If you happen to be in Minnesota on July 24th and July 25th, heads up...we are going to be surrounded by a bunch of extra people who are all showing up at the Mall of America.

No one needs to wear a nametag (although they will be).

All of their names are Ryan.

But that's not the only spot this crew of "Ryans" are showing up in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

"Ryans" Are Taking Over Minnesota This Week - Here's Where They'll Be

I saw a note in my inbox today that Ryans from "everywhere" are being invited to the Minneapolis area for an entire weekend of fun and an attempt at breaking a few records.

In this write-up, I learned that there is a not-for-profit organization called Ryan Meetup, that is organizing this huge event to help connect people named Ryan through scheduled events throughout our nation. On the map this week...Minnesota!

Here's where the Ryans are showing up in Minnesota:

Friday, July 24th - Mall of America

The Ryans will start showing up around 6:30 pm when they can check-in for the full day of activities and fun, including:

select Ryans are getting Slimed
group photos in the Rytunda (what the Rotunda is being named for the day) & Slime Chair
Ryans ryde the Ryan Coaster at the Mall of America and hope to set the world record for the most people of the same name to consecutively ride a roller coaster.
After party at The Fair on 4

Saturday, July 25th - Target Field

If you are going to watch the Minnesota Twins on Saturday, you are going to not just see a whole lot of people wearing Ryan merch, you are also going to see a Ryan Parade on the field.

12 pm - Before the game starts, the Ryans are meeting up at noon to go to Cowboy Jack's (named Cowboy Ryan's for the day" at 126 N 5th Street. The Ryans that show up can learn special Ryan cheers, make signs for the game, get their face or boy painted, and also enjoy the great food.

5 pm - the Ryans are getting together inside Target Field for a pregame Ryan Parade.

6 pm - Enjoy the Twins vs. Athletics game...and expect some Ryan fun and surprises throughout.
