Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two truck drivers from Minnesota were killed Tuesday in a fiery crash that closed down a section of I-90 between Winona and La Crosse for over five hours.

The State Patrol says the deadly collision occurred along a curve on the steep decline just east of the Nodine exit at about 12:10pm when an eastbound semi-truck driven by 47-year-old Michael Kalvig of Glenville went across the median into the westbound lanes and collided with another semi-truck driven by a 37-year-old Abdulhafiz Hussein of Roseville.

The trucks caught fire and both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not been released and the crash remains under investigation.
