Opening Date For New Grocery Store in Rochester, MN!

You know a new business is getting ready to open when they finally show up on Google!  Last fall, all of Rochester, Minnesota heard the news that Cub Foods was building a new store by Costco.  Thanks to the update on Google, it appears that opening day is getting close.

Where Is The New Cub Foods Going To Be in Rochester, Minnesota?

Last May, Andy Brownell with shared the exciting news that a new Cub Foods was going to be built in NW Rochester.  The proposed site was to the north of Costco at 2480 Scott Road NW (Get Directions)

The news release provided almost a year ago indicated that the store would feature a covered drive-through pickup area, a drive-through area for the pharmacy, and an 8,500-square-foot liquor store.

The New Cub Foods Has Shown Up on Google!

As I was working on this story, I had to laugh a little bit because of what I saw on Google.  The new Cub Foods is now on the map and it currently states that it is temporarily closed, but that's not what made me giggle.

I'll show you what it looks like right now.

The new Cub Foods store in NW Rochester already has a Google review.  It isn't even open yet and it has 4 stars.  No reason why.  Just 4 stars.  That made me laugh.

When is the New Cub Foods Opening in NW Rochester, Minnesota?

Sometimes, dates change and if that happens for this opening, I'll post it over on my Facebook page - Jessica On The Radio.  Cub Foods has my contact info.  For now though, the grand opening for the new Cub Foods store in NW Rochester will take place on May 2nd.

Cub Foods Is Hiring Now For Their New Location in Rochester
