An amazing event is just over a week away that's being put on by The Friends of the Farmer's Market and Rochester, Minnesota Downtown Alliance. On Sunday, September 12th you can experience the Harvest Dinner. It's going to be "elegant" as they described in their press release and it sounds like a great date night.

The Harvest Dinner will be on the 12th from 5:30-9:30 PM at The Castle in Rochester. You do need to buy tickets ahead of time, so we'll get to that in a second. The Harvest Dinner will feature a four-course meal using local ingredients from Rochester Farmer's Market vendors. The dinner will be made by local restauranteurs.

Restaurants that will be preparing the food for the Harvest Dinner are Cameo, Forager, and Bleu Duck. Cocktails will be made by Bitter and Pour, and yes you get a free cocktail with your ticket. There will also be live music and a silent auction.

All of this sounds like a very fun and delicious evening. It would be great to see what these local restaurateurs do with the local ingredients from the farmer's market. Of course, the event isn't free, tickets are $125 per person. That pays for your welcome cocktail, appetizers, and a four-course meal. If you're interested, tickets can be purchased HERE.
