ESPN Says Minnesota Is One Of The Best Places To Watch…Soccer?
Quick, finish this sentence for me: "Minnesota is widely known as the State of _______."
...
...
...'Hockey,' right? Of course. Everyone knows that Minnesota is the State of Hockey.
(I see you, guy who answered 'Mosquitoes.')
But according to ESPN, Minnesota may start to be known for soccer. That's because a recent article on ESPN.com named Allianz Field in St. Paul as the "Best Stadium Experience" in Major League Soccer. The Minnesota United's home stadium is known for its raucous fan atmosphere, but I'm guessing it's the 4,000-square-foot Brew Hall that truly puts the experience over the top. I mean, even if you aren't necessarily a soccer fan (*cough*), drinking brew with a bunch of buzzed Minnesotans singing "Wonderwall" sounds pretty fun to me! I really need to check out a game there sometime.
