
At Least One Killed in Head-on Crash Between SUV and Semi on Minnesota Highway
The SUV was heading west and the semi was eastbound when the vehicles collided head-on on the two-lane highway, the state crash report says.
Buffalo Lake, MN (MinnesotaNow)- At least one person was killed in a crash involving a semi on a Minnesota highway Wednesday.

That’s according to preliminary information released by the State Patrol. First responders were called to the scene of the two-vehicle crash shortly after 11:15 a.m.
The other vehicle involved was an SUV.

At Least One Person Killed in Head-on Crash Between Semi & SUV on Hwy. 212 in Minnesota
The deadly crash occurred on Hwy. 212 about 17 miles southwest of Hutchinson.
The SUV was heading west and the semi was eastbound when the vehicles collided head-on on the two-lane highway, the state crash report says.

A 58-year-old man from Minneapolis was driving the SUV. A 40-year-old Wellsburg, IA man was behind the wheel of the semi and had a 39-year-old man from Cedar Falls, IA was riding with him.
The State Patrol has not released the names of the people involved in the crash and the death toll is not yet available.
The preliminary state crash report does not say which vehicle had entered the opposite lane.
Authorities plan to release more information about the fatal crash on Thursday afternoon.
