Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle drive is down to its final few days.

It ends Saturday, the afternoon of Christmas Eve.

The organization says service and veterans groups have volunteered to ring every day at this final week at Scheel's.

There is a special event scheduled Thursday that will focus on the upcoming Vikings/Packers game.

Kettles for this event will be at a handful of sites, including Thirsty Belgium(Packers) and Brothers Bar and Grill (Vikings).

The Salvation Army says Marcus Sherels may make an appearance at  the downtown kettles (Shops at University Square and Associated) over the lunch hour with some of his friends.
