I can't pretend I'm Mr. Thoughtful from Thoughtfulville, USA, population ME! It wasn't my idea it was Geri M's on a Facebook page where people notice things happening in Rochester, Minnesota.

"To EVERYONE who orders delivery. Now that it gets dark earlier and earlier every day, if you order something to be delivered PLEASE turn ON your outside lights so we can see your house number.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON"

I think that's a great reminder. I would love to add, "Everyone, please make sure you have an easy to read house number," but some developers seem heck-bent on making finding that number guessing game. So I won't add that.

These suggestions aren't a surprise, but for centuries food delivery has been asking for us to help them out a bit. Maybe now is the time we start. PS - This is not for you, a good person that strives to be kind and attentive. This is for people like me, that forget. Or people that are mean. Or just people that need something to look at on the terlet.
