Phoenix, AZ (KROC-AM News) - The Mayo Clinic Board of Trustees has selected three new members.

The trustees, meeting in Arizona, today welcomed the newest members of the board. Former Ford CEO President Alan Mulally, U.S. Bancorp CEO and Chairman Richard Davis, and Xerox Chair Ursala Burns were elected to four-year terms.

The trustees also recognize the contributions of three departing members. Former Securities and Exchange Commissioner Aulana Peters served on the Mayo Board since 2007, Dougherty Financial Group chair Michael Dougherty joined the board in 2013, and Armando Codina, who heads a Florida development company, became a Mayo Trustee in 2014.

A new internal member of the Board of Trustees was also elected at the meeting. Dr. Heidi Nelson is the chair of the Mayo Clinic Department of Surgery.
