Winona, MN (KROC-AM News) - A former employee of the Lewiston-Altura School District will not be required to serve any additional time behind bars for a child pornography conviction.

24-year-old Dane Austin was sentenced Wednesday to five years on probation. He recently pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of child pornography through a plea agreement with Winona County prosecutors that resulted in the dismissal of two counts of dissemination of child porn and another count for possession.

Court records show the St. Charles man was arrested at the Lewiston High School last June. He was the target of an investigation that began about six months earlier when an FBI agent traced two online files containing child pornography to an IP address assigned to Austin.
