Are you ready for a “Full House” revival?   TV Guide reports that original series star John Stamos (Uncle Jessie) is leading the charge to revive the 80s and 90s family sitcom.  The show’s creator and executive director are both interested and are working on new scripts.

Other castmates reportedly showing interest include Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy).  Bob Saget (Danny) and Dave Coulier (Joey) might also be involved.  Don’t look for the Olsen twins however.  They’ve given up on acting and are focusing on their massive business and fashion careers.

“Full House” aired on ABC from 1987 until 1995.  Following the recent success of “Girl Meets World” which is a revival of old “Boy Meets World” show, networks may jump at the chance to bring back a new version of “Full House”.

If it happens,  favorite catchphrases, like “Huck uck uck uck uck… woah!” (Uncle Joey) and “Have Mercy” (Uncle Jessie) might become popular again.
