I'm a movie buff, and I'll quote movie lines in conversation ALL the time! But I've NEVER tried doing this - have you?

I'm an amateur movie buff. I'm no Med City Movie Guy, Chris Miksanek, but I will drop a movie quote in conversation. Like from Blazing Saddles, or some other movie, depending on what's going on in the moment. Most people I know do that.

On June 26th, 1998, the 1939 Classic, Gone With The Wind was re-released in theaters. Esquire magazine has put together the top Smoothest Pickup Lines in Movie History. One of the top lines is what Clark Gable's Rhett Butler says to Vivien Liegh's Scarlett O'Hara. There are some other good ones on the list. Like Groucho Marx from Duck Soup, "Will you marry me? Did he leave you any money? Answer the second question first."

Since I specialize in mostly funny, comedy lines, I've never used a movie pickup line. Not even the Groucho line, believe it or not. Have you used a pickup line from a movie? Do they work?

Check out the other lines here.
