Merriam-Webster added a bunch of new words to the dictionary. Some are saying they don't belong there, some love 'em. I'm about that argument. I'm about the funny, and hearing Jim and Deb Lawson (retired teachers and parents of NAMI SEMN Executive Director Courtney Lawson) try to spell the new words is pretty epic!

hangry (adjective), "irritable or angry because of hunger."

rando (noun), "a random person."

time suck (noun), "an activity to which one devotes a lot of time that might be better or more productively spent doing other things."

adorbs (adjective), "extremely charming or appealing."

TL;DR (abbreviation), "too long;  didn't read." SOURCE

One of the new words I love, but that didn't make it into the spelling bee is:

zoodles (noun), a long, thin strip of zucchini that resembles a string or narrow ribbon of pasta SOURCE

I am def going to use zoodles next time I'm hangry.
