Heart Condition Blamed for Minnesota Teen’s Death
Fargo, ND (Learfield Wire Services/TTWN Media Networks) -- Authorities have not completed their investigation, but the family of a teenage boy from Minnesota who was found dead on a North Dakota college campus have released an autopsy report in order to dispel some rumors.
The Minnesota father of a teenager who died during a campus visit says an autopsy shows the 17-year-old had an abnormal heart rhythm. Devin Delaney died of natural causes in a residence hall at North Dakota State University last month. In Savage, Minnesota, his father says he released the autopsy results to ease campus fears of a contagious outbreak. Tom Delany says he wanted to counter reports his son had died due to binge drinking.
The senior at Burnsville High School was found dead September 17th.
