Honoring Donna Beebe and her Kindergarten Class at Folwell! [Video]

Once again, we've teamed up with Sylvan Learning of Rochester to recognize and reward great teachers! Our first Cool Classroom is Donna Beebe's Kindergarten at Folwell!

Rachel Kitchens said,

I'm nominating Mrs. Beebe because her gentle, heartfelt approach has made my shy daughter burst from her cozy cocoon into a fearless butterfly.

My girl, myself and her older brother celebrated her 5th birthday in a homeless shelter just a week before she started Kindergarten, and Mrs. Beebe's loving approach has been fantasy-like!

She pays close attention to my girl and enthusiastically mentions, in detail, my girl's drawing abilities. She helped my girl overcome her serious fear of public potties, even when I was never able!

Mrs. Beebe is forgiving about my memory issues, and you can tell she's genuinely happy to be teaching. I can't think of 1 school day when my girl didn't happily skip to my vehicle upon pick-up, and I attribute that to the soft, calm & fun teaching style of Mrs. Beebe.

We have no family, but Mrs. Beebe gives my girl ample love. She has made my girl feel like the Artistic sweetheart she is, and for that, I'm forever grateful for her.
