You Could Score Cash Thanks to Facebook's $725 Million Class-Action Settlement

Facebook screwed up and now a huge chunk of people in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and throughout the United States could get some money because of it.  Here's what happened:

Way back in 2018, Cambridge Analytica paid a developer at Facebook to have access to personal data for about 87 million users.  Yes, one of those individuals could be you.  It didn't stop there either.  Frightfully, multiple lawsuits appeared claiming that multiple third-party organizations received users' data from Facebook.  According to CBSnews.com, it appears that the data was used to help profile voters, as well as given to advertisers and data brokers.

Who is Eligible to Get Money from Facebook?

If you had a Facebook account that was active between May 24th, 2007 and December 22nd, 2022, you could score some cash from the Facebook settlement.

The amount of money you could receive is up in the air right now since some of the settlements will be paying for layers.  The rest of the cash will be divided between others that have submitted a valid claim.
