Two vehicles were involved in the deadly crash. The State Patrol responded to the scene shortly before 2:15 Monday afternoon.

83-Year-Old Wisconsin Man Killed in Crash on I-94 Near Twin Cities

The deadly crash occurred between the Manning Ave. interchange and the Keats Ave. interchange east of Woodbury. 

Both vehicles were traveling east when they made contact, causing one of the drivers to lose control, spin out, enter the ditch on the south side of the interstate then roll, the state crash report says.

76-year-old Peter Henry Jungenberg of Menominee, WI was driving the car that had spun out. He was brought to Regions Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.

Jungenberg’s passenger, identified as 83-year-old Thomas Samuel Amsbaugh of Downing, WI, lost his life in the crash. The State Patrol says he died after being brought to Regions. 

30-year-old Say Wah Doh of St. Paul was identified as the other driver. He escaped the deadly crash without injuries, according to the State Patrol. 

All three men were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the state crash report says.
