I have to say, Minnesota has done pretty great for itself when it comes to making local craft beer. I might be a little biased, but I’d put it up there against any other state in the country. Whether you’re a fan of the beer up north like Surly, Fulton, Indeed, or countless others – or you’re into the Rochester beer scene, Minnesotans have access to some tasty local beer.

But here’s the tough question: which Minnesotan craft brewery is the best?

I’m sure that question will get a lot of different responses (I’m super partial to Dangerous Man based on their Peanut Butter Porter alone), but Forbes magazine threw their name in the hat with their recent article naming the Best Craft Beer Bars State By State. Their pick for Minnesota?

I was a bit surprised, mostly because I’ve never been there before. But based on their website, it does look pretty cool. I’m really digging their can designs. If you haven’t been there, it’s only an hour and 25 minutes away from Rochester. Make sure you have a DD!
