If they're truly closing, then this will be the most disappointed I'll ever be for a business leaving Rochester.

I thought this town was supposed to be growing? But so far in 2018, we've seen nothing but store after store after restaurant close! I'm sure we're not the only city that's going through such changes, but man, it's still depressing... and now this is happening!

One of my all-time favorite eating establishments in Rochester, a place I've given plenty of love to on-air and online (like this classic Eats on the Streets episode back in 2015) could possibly be on it's last leg. For several weeks we've received several messages and phone calls from our listeners asking us if we've heard the rumors about TINN'S closing, and only until this past weekend did we finally see for ourselves that their northwest (and original) location near Walmart went dark... with only a handwritten note taped to their entrance informing the public it was closed:

What's with the smiley face? It was only a few years ago this franchise was spread all across town with five locations... and now you're down to just one at 101 N Broadway Ave. In fact I had to drive by it today just to confirm that it was even still open (it was), but it wasn't at all busy. I've tried to reach out to management/ownership a few times to get the full story on what's going on but haven't heard back yet.

So if this is truly the last call on what I think are some of the best philly-style subs in town, then I suggest you hit up North Broadway while you still can because it doesn't seem like this local favorite will be around much longer... and honestly, that just sucks!
