
Delays Expected on Hwy. 52 in Rochester During Bridge Deck Work
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Motorists are being advised to anticipate slowdowns on Hwy. 52 in Rochester on Saturday.

Construction crews have been sealing cracks and joints on bridges along the Hwy. 52 corridor and on other highways in southeast Minnesota throughout the construction season.
It’s part of a larger effort to seal cracks and joints on 34 bridges in Olmsted and Mower Counties, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).

Bridge Crack and Joint Sealing Work Continues Saturday on Hwy. 52 in Rochester
Starting Saturday morning, crews will be doing sealing work on the Hwy. 52 southbound bridge at the Civic Center Dr./Hwy. 14 West interchange.
MnDOT says short-term ramp and lane closures will accompany the sealing work. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes during the work.
Sealing Work on Hwy. 52 Near Apache Mall
Further south, crews will continue sealing work on the Hwy. 52 Zumbro River crossing south of the 16th St. SW interchange near Apache Mall.
The work will occur on the northbound bridge. Lane closures are also scheduled for that area.

The sealing work is expected to continue along Hwy. 52 through August, MnDOT says.
