Rochester Man Accused of Brandishing Knife & Gun, Driving Drunk After Billiards Losses at Rochester Bar
45-year-old Scott Robert Wilson is charged with felony second-degree assault and two misdemeanor DWI charges.
The complaint says Rochester police responded to an unnamed bar and restaurant in southeast Rochester shortly around 12:20 Thursday morning on the report that a knife and gun were brandished during an altercation between two men.
The victim and another witness told police that a man identified as Wilson approached them while they were playing pool and asked if they wanted to play for money.

Wilson lost the first two games and began yelling at the victim and witness, the complaint says. The victim then confronted Wilson about yelling at him and the witness before the three eventually returned to play a third game.
Wilson lost again, brandished a knife and lunged with it at the victim as the victim was collecting the money, the charges say. Other patrons at the bar then pushed Wilson out of the building and called the police.
The court document indicates Wilson brandished the gun when he got to his vehicle in the parking lot.
Responding officers found Wilson driving in the area of Hwy. 52 and Hwy. 63 and stopped him for a traffic violation, the charges say.
Police, detecting signs of impairment, administered a preliminary breath test to Wilson, which measured his blood-alcohol concentration at 0.15, the complaint says.
Officers found a pair of knives, a knife sharpener and handgun holster inside of Wilson’s vehicle, according to the court document.
Wilson was released without bail following his first court appearance Thursday morning. He is due back in court next month.
