Owe Parking Fines? Rochester Sends 5,000+ Collection Notices
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The City of Rochester has issued an advisory concerning an ongoing effort to recover nearly $900,000 worth of unpaid parking ticket fines.
The notice says a company hired to assist in the effort recently sent over 5000 texts or emails to individuals with past-do parking tickets issued by the city. Anyone who has received one of the messages is encouraged to visit Rochester's online citation portal ora to call 507-328-2407 to confirm whether any unpaid parking tickets are associated with their vehicles.

The Rochester City Council earlier authorized the use of collection services to recover unpaid parking ticket fines more than 30 days past due going back to January 1, 2018. The city will also be using collection services going forward to collect unpaid parking tickets after 45 days of delinquency.
