(Update) Vulnerable Minnesota Teen Girl Found Safe

Update: Authorities say 14-year-old Katie Marie Olson has been found safe

Brooklyn Park, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities have issued a statewide missing person alert for a missing Minnesota teenager.

The bulletin, issued by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) on Tuesday night, says the teen girl is vulnerable and is without her medication.

She was last seen late Tuesday morning in the Twin Cities area.

Vulnerable 14-Year-Old Girl Reported Missing in Twin Cities, MN, Statewide Alert Issued

14-year-old Katie Marie Olson is identified as the missing person. She was last seen in the area of Brooklyn Blvd. underneath Interstate 694 in Brooklyn Park around 11 a.m.

Authorities say there is concern for her mental health. The BCA says she was last seen wearing gray and black plaid pajama pants, a gray hoodie, and white high-top shoes.

Olson is described in the alert as 5’4”, 140 pounds with red hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who may have seen Olson or has knowledge regarding her whereabouts is asked to call 911 or to contact the Brooklyn Park Police Department at 952-258-5321.
