10 Items That Should Never Go In Your Garbage Disposal
There are a few life lessons that I wish I didn't have to learn the hard way. Example: a few days before Thanksgiving one year, we moved into a "new to us" house in Minnesota. We only had furniture for half the house, didn't even have a dining room table, but we thought it would be a great idea to host Thanksgiving for the family one week after we closed. #TrueStory
We figured out the seating issue but something that was new to us in this house was a garbage disposal. About 50% of homes have this handy device located under the kitchen sink. And on the busiest cooking day of the year, I was throwing everything down that thing and hitting the button like a boss. That is, until it stopped working.
Learn from my mistakes. Do NOT put any of the items below down your drain thinking that the garbage disposal is making everything disappear.
