In case you haven't heard the story, there's a Minnesota college student, Jayson Gonzalez, who would drive to Iowa every weekend, buy hundreds of donuts from Krispy Kreme, and then resell them in the Twin Cities. Krispy Kreme caught on and told him to stop doing it. You can read more about that incident HERE.

But now, Krispy Kreme and Jayson have reached an agreement! The Star Tribune writes,

The company said in a statement Monday that Jayson Gonzalez of Champlin can now work with Krispy Kreme as an independent operator. The deal also includes a 500-dozen doughnut donation when he starts up again.

Of course, Jayson is super pumped. He wrote on Facebook that he thought the situation was going to be "a bummer" and it ended up being "something even better."

Do you think we could convince Jayson to extend his Krispy Kreme service further south in Minnesota?
