Last Monday Night Football’s Anthem Singer Has Rochester Connection!

That US Air Force Veteran singing the National Anthem during Monday Night Football on November 11, 2019 had a special Minnesota connection. AND a Rochester connection, too.

His name is Mark J Lindquist and I've written about him before (read about that here). He's from Ortonville, MN and has an amazing voice. Just listen.

The Rochester connection goes back to 2004. The Field of Fun (an awesome playground) was about to be built. A company that specializes in doing just this kind of thing was brought in and as I was interviewing the leader of that group on the phone, I heard a voice in the background I recognized from the Minn-Dak Key Club District Board!

Mark J. Linquist. He was part of the organization helping build the Field of Fun (click for map)! Mark sings the National Anthem A LOT, so watch for him on TV. And next time you see him? Remember...he helped make Rochester a little bit better along the paths of his life.
